A hospital ward with three beds.

Minehead Hospital's CT and MRI Scanners are about to be taken away from the Hospital, reducing access to healthcare from a large part of West Somerset.

The local NHS, and the Government, say that this is because of lack of use, and that this lack of use make the scanners not viable.

With the removal of these scanners, patients across West Somerset will either have to travel to Musgrove Park, or go to Bridgwater, to visit the new diagnostic centre under construction there. With public transport links not suitable, and taxi costs exorbitant, these options are not realistic for many of my constituents.

Sign my petition to tell the Government, and the Foundation Trust, to save our scanners!

Back Rachel's Petition to Keep a CT and MRI Scanner at Minehead Hospital

Many constituents have got in touch with me about the CT and MRI Scanners at Minehead Hospital. With news coming from the Somerset NHS Foundation Trust and the Labour Government that this scanners will not be able to stay unless it can be proven "cost effective", I need your help to show that the people of West Somerset need to save our scanners.
